Morgan's 2 year pictures and stats

These pictures were taken back in July, but perfectly represent our little Morgan.  Morgan is our feisty, but well mannered, strong willed but tender hearted, shy but expressive little 2 year old diva!  She loves playing with purses and dolls and anything outside. She doesn't like being wronged and will stand up for herself if she is. She both cares for and beats up on her little brother and is just an overall joy in our life. She certainly keeps us on our toes and is yet another reminder that each and every child is special and unique in their own ways. She measured 34 inches and 25lb at her 2 year check up which puts her in the 63% and 27% respectively. She is 1/2in shorter and 7oz lighter than Megan at this age but has the same amount or more hair that Megan had at age 3! Her skin and hair are darker than all of the others making her even more one of a kind and we just love her to pieces! Here she is, in all her glory. :)

And don't ask me which one is my favorite or which one will go on the wall, because I absolutely love them all!! :)

"Staycation" Part 3

Other random events from staycation include, Ryan doing this for the first time!!!
And he also started actually crawling, instead of scooting around on his belly.
Aunt Joanna's "school"
Joanna had the boys do this robotics thing at the park and they got to build little robots.
Swimming lessons (at the same pool that the waterpark is at and is also the same place where I learned to swim!)
This is Tyler floating... lol...poor kid has zero body fat
Bike rides and walks were definitely among my favorite times.  I always love doing this as a family at home and so doing it with the rest of the family too was extra fun!
Of course, we also had lots of fun in Grandma and Grandpa's pool as well. This one particular morning, the other kids were either sleeping or at swimming lessons and so Morgan got some one on one time with Aunt Marisa.
The girl has zero fear and was loving this!
Believe it or not, this actually didn't turn out bad. :)
perfect little canon ball :)
Perfect size pool for the babies :)
Another favorite activity of mine was eating out at Fusion. The kids always enjoy the entertainment and its just a unique dining experience for everyone.
After Fusion, Tim, Joanna, and I took the boys laser tagging.  This also made the top of the list for favorite activities.  I absolutely LOVED doing this with Tyler! He was so cute!  His little backwards hat and super cool vest...and he would say things like "I've been hit!" I just loved the boyness coming out and seeing him grow up is both sad and wonderful.
We did spend a little time in the arcade that the laser tag place has, but only long enough for the kids to play with this. :)
We didn't even have to put a token in for them to have fun
After a long day though, this is what happens, even at an ice cream place.
Other fun we had was riding on Grandma and Grandpa's boat (which unfortunately died before we all even got a chance to ride on it :( It is fixed now though!) and playing on the trampoline.
Aunt Joanna would make it even more fun by going underneath to bounce them.  They loved it and it was hilarious!  A good workout too!
So, I posted one before, but seriously, we had so much fun with these slow motion videos that my phone can do. This is one of Marisa that had us laughing SOOOO hard! :)
We were thankful that we had a fairly safe week with the only excitement being a trip to urgent care for an ear infection for Daniel, a bee sting for Tyler, and oh, you know, just a little anaphylactic shock for Uncle Zach.  You see, Uncle Zach is deathly allergic to bee stings.  He was outside watching the boys swim when Tyler got stung while he was in the pool. Tyler just stopped swimming after he got stung because he was flipping out about it hurting and so Zach actually had to reach in and pull him out.  Though he didn't realize it at the time, Zach actually got stung too, on his toe, and thus began the anaphylactic shock.  It was actually a fairly gradual process...his toe was throbbing but he just attributed that to hitting on the bed the night before. Then the hives started.  He was on his way to get in his truck to go to an urgent care type of place (without his epi pen) that he ended up getting a little dizzy and so my dad offered to drive him.  He almost lost consciousness before being given a couple shots of epi at a local clinic.  Thankfully my Dad offered to drive him! That was definitely our excitement for the week! Here is Tyler talking about his experience with the bee...not quite as dramatic as Zach's, even though he sure made it out to be! :)
It was such a fun week and I am already missing those fun summer days doing summer activities now that school has started. I am thankful we had the opportunity though, and that we could enjoy all of what my parents house has to offer for one whole week of the summer! As you can imagine, we were tired after such a fun week.
We ended our trip with some DQ close to home and have had lots of other fun since. You'll probably have to wait another month before I post about it though. :P
