This pregnancy has been a breeze so far in comparison to Tyler. I remember being really sick but I honestly don't remember how bad it really was with Tyler. Tim said that I would wake up in the middle of the night puking my guts out. I honestly just remember this blur of excitement, sickness, incredible nausea, and well, misery. This pregnancy has been nothing but just tiredness, which is not uncommon for me, even when I'm not pregnant. I have thrown up a handful of times, none of which were recently, and always associated with opening up Tyler's nasty baby food or smelling something else gross. The past 2 weeks I've not felt any movement, had no nausea or sickness or anything so I began to get a little concerned. Sunday I started cramping a little, which I also remember with Tyler, but it was still concerning so I went ahead and called the doctor and got another ultrasound scheduled, which ended up being today. I can't describe the relief when I saw that little heart beating. It was one of the best ultrasounds I have had because we just got to sit there and watch the baby move and "play" for a good 20-30 minutes while the tech measured and did her stuff. She was sooo good about explaining everything and pointing out everything she saw...the bladder, the stomach, the spine, little fingers, little feet....it was so amazing. I almost think that I feel more connected with this baby than I did with Tyler because I didn't know what it felt like to be a mom with Tyler. Now I know the joy that being a mother brings and of course, I get to laugh and play with Tyler every day and watch him grow so watching this one grow is just as exciting. For those of you that are moms, you know how full your heart feels when you hold that precious baby that will one day call you mommy...I didn't think there could possibly be any more love in my heart but it just keeps growing!! I was also so excited that today, my mom got to share these precious times with me. I am very blessed with a mom that I can talk to on a regular basis who can share my joy with me. I think that even though she drove 3 1/2 hours and then turned right around to make the drive back home that she would say she enjoyed every minute of it. Anyway, on to what you really want to see, the baby!!! No, we didn't find out what it was. We like to be surprised at the end! So, everyone else, just be patient!!!

The first view we saw...almost getting their thumb!

2 1/2 inches long and growing...amazing

both little arms and hands by their face

Ghostly face...not my favorite view

This one reminds me of my little Tyler...long little legs!!

Technically, I am 12 weeks plus 6 days today but I measured at 13 +1 so I am going to see about changing my due date...because believe me, that 1 or 2 days can make a difference!!!
And, my nonexistent tummy at 12 weeks

And Tyler, because he is so stinking cute!! (I know, I'm bias

)

I love him all bundled up in his hat, coat, and mittens...hopefully we'll get a chance to go out in the snow tomorrow with Daddy!
