Photography skills?

The park

Yesterday, we went to the park with some of our friends for a picnic so again, I worked on some of my nonexistent photography skills...I really want to get enough experience in to be able to take my own kids pictures...so anyway, for those of you with better photography skills than me, tell me what I am doing wrong in these pictures and how I can improve them! This is Noah, a two year old cutie that is always the poor soul of all of my photo attempts!

Oh yeah, also while I was home I got to spend some time with my cousins....I only have pictures of 4 of them because Isaiah was in soccer practice the whole time we were playing on the playground...I can't believe how big they are all getting! Emily is 13!!!! I remember when she was born! :) Anyway, here they are...I'm a proud cousin. :) Emily 13, Isaiah 11, Jesse 9, Jacob 6 (almost 7), and Ellie 4 (going on 14).

The Postlewait Wedding

This past weekend, I went home to West Virginia to sing in one of my best friends from high school's wedding. She was also my roommate my junior year of college and he was my junior/senior banquet date in high school :) But anyways, so I headed out on Friday morning and went to the rehearsal on Friday night and then to the wedding on Saturday...it was such a beautiful wedding that truely had God at the center...I was so proud of Becky and Tony. They have been dating on and off since 5th grade so those of us that have known them since then were all thinking "its about time!!" But anyways, I tried to work on some of my nonexistent photography skills while I was there...and I didn't have the best of seats, but here are a few pictures from their wedding.

Tony definately cried like the entire bridal processional...even before she walked in...and of course, she was so beautiful :)

This is another one of my best friends from high school, Rebekah...she is getting married in less than a month!

So anyway, like I said, it was a beautiful wedding, she was a beautiful bride and I am just so happy for them! I know it was the best day of her life. :) Congratulations Tony and Becky Postlewait!

Hawaii

So, its been awhile since I updated and frankly I really don't want to this time either...mostly because I am too lazy and I feel like I should be doing something a little more constructive with my time...but alas, I also want to keep you updated on what Tim and I have been doing this summer....so, here it goes...I think that most of this update will be in pictures, because I also don't feel like typing...so...

We went to Hawaii again...this time we met up with Tim's parents and his brother who also fly for free...it was pretty awesome...all of us made it there without a problem...and all of us, except Jon got our baggage. We were able to go to a luau and we also went on a pretty sweet snorkeling trip...so anyway, now for some pictures...




Ok, check out this tree...these are all over Maui...and they are crazy! each branch that grows grows its own root system or something...its crazy...this is seriously only one tree!!

So anyway, that was a brief summary of our trip...we took like almost 400 pictures...but anyways...we had such a good time...it was so cool that all of us were able to meet up there together...and total cost for the trip per person was only $250...totally affordable to go to Hawaii. :)
