I am trying to sell my 1995 Ford MercuryMystique...anyone interested? does anyone have any friends that might be interested? relatives? acquaintances? anyone? We haven't technically put a for sale sign on it yet but it is indeed for sale! We are asking $2,300 OBO. It is in great condition! I am the second owner (technically third, but my sister had it before me and we're family so that doesn't count), and it has never been in an accident, hit a deer, or anything. The most exterier body damage it has are minor scratches (due to its almost 12 year life) and a piece of metal that came off the front when Tim took it to the car wash. (Those stupid power sprayers!) It has cruise control, power steering, power windows, power door locks, AM/FM stereo, CD player, dual front airbags, power seat, alloy wheels, and cloth interior (gray). It has 156,000 miles on it, but the engine only has around 87,000. A used engine was put on in 2003 when we overheated it. :) That engine only had around 67,000 when it was put in. It has a lot of other new parts as well! New parts include the following:
* timing belt and tensioner 2/18/06
* new exhaust system 4/20/06
* rear drums and shoes 4/20/06
* 02 sensor 4/20/06
* battery 7/15/06
* fuel pump 10/19/06
* fuel filter 10/19/06
* upper radiator hose 10/19/06
* pigtail for collant temp sensor 10/19/06...
* new lights for underneath the
and I'm sure there are more. The tires have been replaced in the past year as well but I am unsure of the actual date. It has been a headache for us in the past year, but as you can see, just about everything, but the transmission has been replaced. The car really is in excellent condition. We just decided that it is time for us to get a bigger car (We are hoping to start a family within the next few years) and sell this one. The heater and AC still work, however, the AC does have a leak and would need to be recharged when the weather warms up and possibly a new hose somewhere. Pictures below!
