Over Thanksgiving, we had the privilege of being able to go to both West Virginia and California to celebrate the holiday with both sides of the family. Unfortunately, I forget to get my camera out in WV. :( So all I have our a few random (some of which are funny) snap shots of some of the happenings.
We got to WV late Tuesday evening and just were able to relax and let the kids play for a bit before having to get everyone to bed. My parents were babysitting one of my nephews, Andrew, so of course, he and Tyler had to have a hyper fest before crashing to bed. :)
Though these pictures were actually taken the next morning, you can tell that Andrew loves his cousins and his cousins love him too!
Ok, so maybe we need to redefine the word love... ;) Or maybe just have some education on the proper place to put your arms while hugging your shorter cousin so that you don't end up putting them in a choke hold! :) Tyler's face is almost looking panicked in this one!
Wednesday evening, though I had the best of intentions of being able to take some pictures of the event, we were able to meet up with one of my best friends from high school and my college roommate and her husband (also a friend from high school) and their sweet boy Rowen. We so enjoyed our dinner with them and were SOOO glad to be able to catch them before they made the move to Alabama this past week! I am so excited to see where God is taking them!
The only picture I snapped Thanksgiving day...this was HILARIOUS! Not the after picture but the process of her getting it on her face and Tyler's expression when she did it. :)
The only picture I got of Marisa and Susan (my adopted family member) in my parents new hot tub. Talk about a relaxing way to spend an evening! This hot tub ("warm pool" as Tyler calls it) is probably why I didn't take many pictures. We got in it every day, a couple times a day! With the cold air and hot water...sigh...SOO relaxing.
Like I said, PATHETIC job on my part of capturing the moments on camera but at least I captured a few! :) So blessed to have such a wonderful family!
