This past Friday, Tim and I were able to go to a friend of mine from growing up's wedding. Davey and I have known each other since birth and its always been the joke that he thought girls had cooties, even throughout high school. He was never interested in having a girlfriend at all. So when I heard he not only liked a girl but LOVED a girl enough to get married, I was shocked and knew it was a wedding I couldn't miss. It was a beautiful wedding and very honoring to the Lord. Here are some pictures of the night...not the best quality as the lighting was HORRIBLE! I felt sorry for the photographers.
Awaiting his bride...

A close up of the bridesmaids, including Tysha, Davey's sister

The ring bearer was the bride's little 4 year old brother and by the end of the wedding, he was tired and hot and blowing spit bubbles. Kind of humerus to watch :)

Parents prayer for the couple

Davey's first kiss and probably her's too...so special

Like I said, it was a very God-honoring wedding and I am so excited for Davey and Katie and looking forward to hearing how the Lord is going to use them in the future for His service! Davey is pursuing missionary aviation and is already a pilot and mechanic. Katie is thinking about pursuing nursing but in the near future, they both have just one semester left before they will graduate from NTM school up in Jackson, Michigan.
